Dreamy, Manifestation-filled September

Updates & Anniversaries

It's been a while,

but thanks for sticking with me. This year has been really big for me! Not just because of pandemic and collective traumas that we've been witness to, but with my practice as well. It has been one year of being self-employed and providing the services I do to the world. I have shifted from a counsellor to a Queer Peer and Tarot Reader, and I can feel my practice shifting again. A process of refining and honing this work I do. Figuring out what brings me joy and excitement to share with the queer community and what is needed. I can't wait to share with you all what I've been dreaming up and envisioning for the future of my practice.

September Monthly Recap

Anniversaries All-Around

This and last September were also my Frog month! (For those that don't know, I do a yearly oracle for my birth month each year to determine what I'll need to consider each month and overall year's theme) Having two September Frog's is really interesting and both times it spoke to massive transformation and the need for gentle emotional shifts as I immerse myself in the healing properties of water. Last year, I started my practice and got top surgery (yes, shortly after my first few client sessions and launching my website, I added the stress of surgery to my body). That healing process was really weird for me and I learned a lot about how much I still don't like asking for help even when it's completely justified. Maybe that's just my life's journey having my North Node in Libra and the Seventh House. I tend to think that I can only rely on myself, but I know that's just not true. Practicing asking and even knowing what to ask for help around, is something I struggle with. This September, I'm seeing that change on the horizon for my practice. There is fear there, concerned that the new shifts won't be as stable for my financial situation and the future of my practice. However, there is also joy and excitement that what's to come, will bring me more ease and spaciousness. Ability to explore other ways my practice can support trans and non-binary queers as I work towards collective Queer healing and liberation.

What's to come

Magical Meetings

While I won't get too in-depth with it here (honestly I haven't even pinned all the details down yet) I will give a small idea of how my practice will shift. Lately, I've been drawn more and more to the esoteric and magical side of my practice. To the tarot and to astrology! Astrology has been a big part of my belief system, and this past year I read two close friends' charts and really felt it click. I've also come to realize that I want more time to dream up group offerings. One-on-one work is great and I've seen so many shifts for the people I work with (and for me as I grow alongside them)!

However, collective care & healing are so important right now. I can't, with integrity, say that my practice is helping people build support networks and revolutionizing the way we care for each other WITHOUT that group connection. If we are to truly separate from state ideas of care, from institutionalized mental health, we need to start working in our communities. Whether that's our local ones near the areas we live or shared spaces online that we create.

So here's to the envisioning process! I will dream up something magical for our collective care and I will share it when it's ready.

As above, so below. ✨ Manifesting the future ✨
